I've had a K810i for over 6 months now. Like it tremendously. Except the damned alarm clock.
I use it every night, and also often during the day to remind me of stuff.
I've previously owned K700i and W810i and they both have the old simple alarm clock which you can set with a push of a few buttons.

To set the alarm at 08.00 on my K810i, I have to push a button 11 times, and still I have my "joystick-right shortcut" set to the alarms.

Does this get on anybody else's nerves?

Does anybody know of like a simple java alarm clock program that I could add to the phone?

Anywho, those were my two cents

Maybe I've missed something but looking at my K810i, you shouldn't need to press a button 11 times! In fact, I don't think you should need to set it up everyday at all.

If you set the alarm to be recurrent on the days you want then it should stay active even when you select "Turn Off" when the alarm goes off. Also, even if the alarm was deactivated, there is a softkey "Turn On" on the alarm menu, so if you have Alarms set to the right-joystick shortcut then only a few button presses would be needed.

Maybe there is a difference in firmware or something?

Don't really use the alarm clock on mine, but had a look and can't see a problem with it. Set it in just a few button presses.
