Saving phone number of SMS sender |

Does any body know how to do the above?
Example: I received a new SMS from a sender whose number (#####)is not in my phonebook.
After reading the message, you can go to the option menu and there is an option: Save #####. You press enter and a message "Saved to add contact menu" will appear.
When you go to phone menu and under add contact option, you cannot find the added number.
My software version is R1C. |

This > means "next step".
The option key is located under Yes.
So, Go to Add contact > Home/Work/Mobile press Yes. Now press the Option key and the number you saved will be displayed. |

I did not have this option when the s/w was R1B. I am not sure what other changes from the new version R1C.

The numbers in the SMS are underlined and get highlighted when you navigate over them (like WAP browsing). When a number is highlighted you can save it using the options key. This works on R1B too! |

Hmm.. Ok, When I go to the inbox of my phone, I read a message from someone that I do not have the number saved in my phonebook. I have tried the above things, but whatever I do, i CANT save the number, the only options I have is to delete, save message , phone the number and so on. No option to save the number there.
Could you please explain exactly how I do this? |
