I recently bought a W910i (and of course updated it with the latest firmware available), but I'm having a very annoying problem. As I always do with my new phones, I delete all of the pre-installed pictures via the File manager. This time though, I noticed that when I go to the Media function through the menu, and then to "Photo" and then scroll down to "Pictures", there are like 22 empty white squares, that which I presume were supposed to contain my deleted pictures. I try to delete them from there also, but they won't disappear.

I have tried master resetting the phone, and then after retreiving the pictures again I deleted them first from the Media section instead of File manager as I usually do, but the problem remains.

I have the same kind of problem with deleted pre-installed ring tones. They still appear in my Walkman when I go to the "Songs" menu without selecting a specifik playlist, and I can't delete them from there either.

Please help me out guys

Hmm this is strange. When I was randomly browsing my phone, and went into Media, I saw a progress in the menus where it said "loading.. 1%...2%.." etc, for each function (Pictures, Music, etc), and now the white squares are gone. It seems like it has done some kind of cache update or something.

Can anyone explain this to me? I have restarted my phone lots of times, but the phone never "cleaned the cache", but now it just did it by itself?

I did deleted some music on my phone in Explorer, and the phone media menu still showed them, but obviously failed with playing them back, it only updated the list after I restarted it.

Another thing I realised is that the Sony Ericsson Media Manager has similar problems, even after restarting it multiple times it still won't update my music's Tagdata, which I edited with another program.
