K850 memory card type |

Hi All,
I have a question regarding the memory card type of the K850, since it can support 2 types of memory (MicroSD dan M2)..
I'm thinking of buying a memory card for my K850 and i can't make up my mind which to buy. My question is, will there be any difference (ie read/write speed, performace issues, etc) while using a MicroSD and the M2 since this is the first time SE phone can support MicroSD type..
One more question, what is the size of the memory that K850 can support, I heard that when ur using 4GB to 8GB, the phone will lags, it is true...?
Any answer will be appreciated
Thanks...

@bobafett
thanks for the link bro, but still they cannot answer my questions...
@jojo
the probelm is the price difference for the M2 and micro SD is very estatic in my country, the price for the 2GB M2 is as the same as 4GB MicroSD
so price is also a problem since u can get twice the size of memory for the same price..just worried bout the performance and speed though...

I'm using a 8GB SDHC. The only lag I have noticed happens when I'm browsing the media player at the same time as a file is playing.

Hi, I've got an 8Gb microSDHC (class 4) with about 6Gb of music and a few films. I find the Media player so slow it's almost unusable. It can literally take a few minutes to get to a specific song. I had a similar problem with My Nokia N800, but that was completely solved with their latest FW release so hoping for the same from SE (currently on latest 038). Using the file manager is OK. |

i have a 4 gig m2 card in my k850i. Its loaded with about 3.5 gig of stuff and it works well. however when using the media player it can take a second to show the artist name or album when scrolling |

A generic solution for SE phones with regards to big memorycards is to organize your files in folders consistently (say 10-15 files max per folder) so that no one folder would contain too many songs, this is what makes it go really slow. Try organizing the files and you'll see the difference in speed. This is based from my experience with an 8gb mspd on my P990 and m2 on my cousin's W850. Cheers

Hi I'm using a 4GB HC Micro SD and it's working fine on my K850i. I have yet to experience any lag when accessing my SD but then I don't really have that much data on my card yet. I have only about 500MB of images and MP3. |

I am using the extra nokia microSD 1GB I won with my ex-n95 and it's working like a charm!
Also M2 are doing problems with SE phones like the famous ''operation failed'' perhaps I am saying ''perhaps'' this kind of problems don't occur with microSD |

I have my music organized by iTunes so all albums are in their own folder and it still to slow to really use. Started putting the ones I listen it more frequently into Playlists now as can access a lot faster. |
