please give the setting for fax

They do not have fax support on those phones afaik.

I've noticed that you are able to choose the Text Message Type (in the messaging setting menu) which I believe allows you to choose the type of device you are delivering the message to.
Might this not have something to do with it?

Well, there's an option of "send message as - fax -" in the message settings of most nokias (and SE's?) But afaik, the network (msg centre) must support it, otherwise you can't use the same... No extra settings, just the network ought to be supportive...
