Hello guys,

I bought my first SE phone k810 and couldn't believe there aren't features like: blinking light and/ or repeating alarm after you have received an sms or missed calls. There are no options in K810 software to setup these.

I keep cell phone on the desk and want it to inform me about these things. This way I always have to carry phone in my pocket.

Is this normal for SE phones?

This is a huge letdown IMHO.

welcome here. no offence, but u dont check the features before u buy a fone?

its might be important for u, but not for everybody. i had this feature in nokia e50, but never used it, cos i dont need it.

thank you for your reply. I kinda took these for granted and never even considered there would be a life with out these features.

Is this normal for all modern phones?

not every fone has got this feature, to be honest, really not sure if se has got it, but i can be wrong, cos i dont use se fones... as mentioned above, nokia e series fones offer this feature and i a sure, some other brands aswell. but its not a common and basic feature in the mobiles

Most phones these days don't have an audible alert for missed calls or messages. Only Motorola phones seem to have this option. Not sure why, as it seems logical to offer this feature to everyone. But no standard SE phone has this option, unfortunately.
