To those of you who've got the p800 - Gratulations!!
Is it possible with the current software versions to write (eg. SMS) with danish characters as æ,ø and å?

Yes!
The virtual keyboard can chose between following languages:
English, france, german, spain, italian, sedish, danish, norway, finnish, pourtgual, Turkey, Netherlands, and greek! |

Yes. Although it's only available with Swedish and English OS languages. It has all all international keyboards available (well all the ones with roman styles characters anyway. Not asian or arabic). |
