Hi everybody !
I've bought a T300 1 week ago, and i was told that it had 1Mbyte of memory (i thank that i could use many ringtones, themes and pics from me....) but, when i switch on the phone, and look at the memory, i saw that there was only 350KB free.... 2/3 of the memory was locked by the preinstalled pics, themes and tones... So, when i wanted to delete them, to free up memory, the phone said me : "Predefined item caanot be deleted".... Anobody knows how to pass out this meesage and deleted this fuc**** pics, tones and themes that i will never use ??? Thanks.

check the t300 thread on software forum. nobody knows any solution yet. I suspect if you upgrade software or unlock the phone it might help...but i am not sure. |

yes, i've read it.... but, i've tried the master reset after have transfered the unerasable pics, but it doesn't work.... the only thing i've suceed is after the master reset, put some pics (6 minimum) in your phone, and the preinstalled pics will not be installed (so, the mem is temporary free) while you don't select them.... but, in all case, you'll lost 400KB by the tunes, the MMS, the themes..... but, it's better to have 600KB than 300....
Thx.

Ok, the question is, though, whether removing pictures and MMS templates etc. frees up memory or not. I can remove them, all right, but seem to have the same amount of free memory left (even if it shows less memory used for pictures etc.)

Next time dont settle for a free phone that the provides locks all the profiles and configurations buy an unlocked phone such as t68i. Stay away from the coffin shaped t 300.

Actually, thinking of the more 'traditional' coffins - I think the T68 looks more like one than the T300!
Anyhow... who would get buried inside a mobile phone? |

do the master reset trick twice.....worked for me. it deletes all preinstalled pics and other unusable stuff and frees up a lot of memory. When u do the master reset again the pictures and ringtones will be back again. |
