Has anyone managed to use the t300 as a dialup modem using a serial cable in win xp? SE only seems to have drivers for IR, but maybe anyone has found a generic driver or so that has worked? Any help in this matter would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks |

go to www.matweb-01.com/English/dls-fds.htm#gsm and get the gsm/gprs modem setup file. Also make sure your cable can support modems, because my usb cannot. |

I have same kind of problem... plus i cant get that modem setup to work. I have XP, T300 and drs-11(232) cable. When I start modem setup, all the buttons are gray and I cant continue from that screen. I was thinking that I'll return the cable to the store and buy and IRDA device if i cant get the cable to work.
Cellphone works with GPRS when i put standard modem 9600bps drivers and dial *99***#. But thats it, if i increase the speed, it wont work. Can anyone help me please? |
