I cannot open Games or Applications.. both show "Operation Failed"... run a report on them and show "File Size: 0 bytes Files: 0"

I had 200ish games on my phone (most saved to memory stick)... woke up yesterday to get "Operation Failed"

So far I have:

Deleted all game files from MS
Master Reset on Settings as well as Phone itself
Formatted MS (altho it gave same message when MS was out)

I have heard there is a limit of games, but didn't see a problem as when I installed 5-10, i'd go back and "Move to M.S."

PLEASE HELP!!!!

I live with this condition on my K800 since a couple of weeks. Searching on Esato and google yields one option - flash my phone with updated firmware. As an alternative to paying Wotan for latest CID and then firmware I suppose contacting SE center and claiming my warranty would be an option.

What model are you using?

Hey Dude ,

Same thing happened in my K750 some tym ago ...

Well , i was also chickened to Flash it myself as you are

So i took it to service centre , and my warranty was also finished , so i just requested the man to help me out a bit ... and i offered to give him money for doing it ...
So he told me to go out and take a seat for a while and in like 15-20 minutes he called me in again , and gave me my phone , and the folders were working
I love my K750 !
I love my N73 Music Edition !
I love my Sony Ericsson K810 !

I would then suggest you just entering your AT&T store and explain your problem. No matter if your warranty just expired, pay some and feel safe your problem will be solved.

I'm considering a 4gb for my K800 too. She won't die, just as my K800 won't die when I decide to cure "her". The only thing I miss though is Opera Mini, on the other hand I save some money not using the (www).

So after some more tinkering around... I can now Install games (overwrite) and play them, but still cannot access "Games" or "Applications" folder, and still shows 0 files

Hi,

I had the same problem probally worst i flashed my phone myself using xs++ it was damn easy even a monkey can do it, so you can to...

I couldnt believe the flashing fix it, since SEUS didnt

So a full reload of the firmware will fix it use: xs++ 3.1 and topsony.com for your firmwares...

Cheers

Flashing softwares wont work on linux.
They will work only on Windows XP and Windows Vista , so are the USBFlash drivers.
