hi, i ordered a DCU-60 cable for some unlocking/debranding, which i thought was the 12-pin variety, but i've been sent a 4-pin cable, which I already have. have i got the right cable name? have i been sent the wrong cable?
thanks, kristian |

the DCU-60 and DCU-65 have 4 pins. these are used to unbrand, customize, etc. your phone.
if you want to unlock the phone you need a t28 or a cruiser cable.

A T28 cablecant be used on newer SE phones (ones that take a DCU-60/65) as the connector is completely different.

As far as I am aware the 4 pin version is ok for flashing. You can us seus to update your phone with the 4 pin version.
