I am looking for a head unit for my car.
What I would like is ofcourse radio, cd/mp3 but I would also like it to have a headphone jack and usb connection so I could use my mp3 player with it.
I don't want ipod support since I don't own and don't like ipods.
I was looking at the Alpine CDA-9884.
It looks great and can support what I want but it requires some accessories to enable usb, aux and bluetooth.
Isn't there any head unit out there that already has those features inbuilt?
Also if anyone knows about a forum that specializes in this then that would be great.
Thanks in advice.

How much you looking to spend?
Do you want a HDD and sat-nav too?

I am thinking about spending up to 300$,
but lower would be better.... as long as I won't be getting total junk.
I don't really require HDD and sat-nav but it would be nice to have too.
What I require is what I said earlier, usb, aux, and bluetooth would be good too.
And yeah of course the unit needs to work with the subwoofers and amp's I'm about to buy.
Thanks.

Pioneer 7900bt review
Sony MEX-BT5000
There is also a cheaper version, the MEX-BT2500 available with less features, less bling, but still A2DP and Carkit.
If you buy one of the Sony products, could you please post a review here?

My radio got stolen with my car 2 weeks ago
But for a review, I had a Sony with USB.
Very powerful 52x4.
Was good in terms of usability.
Im a SOny fan but I have to nock the equalizer settings, it wasnt up to scratch the sound settings was very basic and can only be set with the remote, even the mute setting is on the remote.
You cant delete tracks of the USB stick from the radio, im not sure if other decks do that but its a useful feature.
The best part of the Sony is the BMP setting thing.
Plays all your MP3s adn Wm files at one level, a higher level so even you crap quality tracks play well and most important at the same volume!!!
With other decks the bitrate from song to song can blow your speakers if its turned up full, with the BMP settings you dont get that!!

I did read the Pioneer 7900bt review and I kinda like it.
However I am unsure on two things. The headphone jack and the usb connection?
I am not sure but I think I need a extra module for the usb to work, but how about the headphone jack?
