Hi all

Struggling to get a Car Kit working that I bought so I'm tempted to get another one that doesn't need wiring in.

Just looking at the HCB-100 & HCB-120 and can't see the differences between these models.

Anyone out there got either of these and can advise what they're like?

Many thanks

The HCB-120 is the newest one. It has more features like caller ID and a display that can show other informations. I also think the Bluetooth version is 2.0 and thereby newer, since HCB-100 only has Bluetooth 1.2. HCB-120 is bigger than HCB-100 though

Many thanks for that.

Wasn't sure if the 120 was bigger or not.

Curious to see what people think of any of these and how good they are.

Thanks for the help.

I am also thinking about getting the 120, but need to know when it says allows up to 5 connections, can you have up to 5 different phones connected to the speaker phone at the same time? And if so, what happens if a call comes in on phone 2 while you are speaking on phone 1? Can you switch handle both calls via the box?

No, you can only have one phone connected at a time. SE kits generally are not that good. You would be better off looking at a Parrot kit

I have the HCB-100 and I have had it since March of last year! and in that time I have only charged it 3 times!

It really is a good little unit and no one has ever complained regarding the quality during a call!

Does this unit turn on with the ignition or is it always on unless you turn it off?
So do you have to turn it on and off manually every time you get in the car?

Cheers

No you just turn it on each and every time you get into the car and it will automatically connect to the last phone it was connected to!

I have never switched it off as it switches itself off a certain period after it loses connection with your phone!!

I never switch it off because I always forget! which is why I am so surprised the battery lasts as long as it does!

Mmmm.

Tempting then.

Although still feel like moving over to a Parrot version after the SE probs so far.
