Yes, I know, but if you take a look at on my picture and this one, you can see, that the only noticable difference is between the keypad and the display. That little difference is the sticker, which can also be ordered. Just take a look at on the part list dude |

My P1 says SE123 on the front, so its a proto.
I just wish it was the real one P1, like you guys have.
Probably updatet firmware and put the new face plate on it by the previous owner.
I know we have a Sony Ericsson office here in the city of Lund in Sweden, near my place so maybe its his proto and sold it to me?
Ps. nice knowing its the new look of P1, with brushed metal face plate, Ho ho ho. I have the latest!?

I'm sorry again, but it's not the new look of P1 either. It's just missing the sticker. If you wish, I can send you one |

Well, you shouldn't worry about that prototype thing! That makes it more unique!! I'm using my W960 proto, and I just love it! I tell you, I probably wouldn't have even bought it if it was not a proto!
It seems like, that you have a retail software on your phone, so it's 99%, that it can be updated any time. It shall work just like a retail one. |

Definitely prototype, but it should be possible to update the firmware.

OK, thank you guys, you are very kind and helped me a lot.
It will work with SEUS update since you saw something from the funny numbers I furnished before from my phone.
But it has a bug, so I dont like it. When I get a SMS message I can not delete it directly, I have to open it first. Other than that its flawless and works very fine.
I will put it on an add on blocket.se for 300 dollars tomorrow.
I will call it "collectors item", thanks to you guys, otherwise it would be lower.
Ps. Why is Nokia E65 not so good?, It has Wi-Fi and Email also, camera, music player and radio.

If nobody buys it, I will be happy having a cool phone that nobody else has, I thank you again for your information.
You guys are the greatest.
Ps. if the SMS bugg goes away after update, maybe I was wrong selling it?
I think so, lets wait and see...
Kindest regards.

Or maybe its easy if you know how?

I will give you a report about the SMS bugg when its updated, but it takes some time.
I am a mac OS X guy and have to download windows first to run within my mac, then we will see?

What is exatly the bug? |
polisen9 Joined: Jan 01, 2008 Posts: 43 PM |
Its only one bug, I tried everything for hous and days since I bought it and nothing strange, but when I get a new SMS message, I must open it first before I can delete it with the back key (the one looks like a back arrow on the keyboard), everything else can be deleted with that key without open it first, email, MMS or other files except recived SMS messages.
It says "bad request" |
