Mine did and it would cost 140 SEK + taxes. Which would be quite expensive. I still have warranty. They told me they would do it for free if they would send it to ericsson but it will take me a week. Do they tell you the same thing?

I don`t know of a service center that charges, but i live in the UK.

quite surprisingly mine did 2day (and im in UK!)

they sed coz mine had already bin upgraded to the i.
they only do free upgrades for m > i. they sed it'd b £15 so told them 2 stuff it!

in the philippines, if your phone is under warranty, you get the firmware upgrade for free. if warranty has lapsed, or you've got non-warrantied (grey market) unit, you will be informed and costs PHP500 (about EUR9,00 / SEK82) taxes included.

In India, the upgrade as such is free, but there is a standard service charge of Rs.250

I've upgraded my Siemens S45 through the internet! Download a file, connect the phone to the computer, hit upgrade! Done!

Thinking again... I'd rather not buy !!!

@Imi You have no idea what people love or worship, you can only make an uninformed guess. i`m pleased you get free upgrades like i do for my t68i at my service center, however the DOWN side for you is you have to use a Siemens every day.
