I heard that the k800i can be used as a modem for my pc.
well I have no idea how to set it up.
so can someone tell me a step by step guide on how to set it up, also how to get the best speed out of it.
I'm using vista home premium and I'm on pay as you go.
thanks in advance

I finally got it to work with the SE pc suite, but I'm getting a speed of 9kb-43kb, also the connection keep disconnecting after 10 mins or it went on for 1.5 hour. I'm using a 10 days free web and walk from T-mobile
is this best speed I can get, and is it normal to keep disconnecting like that.
and this is the speed test I did

Web n walk on t-mobile pay as you go doesnt actually allow modem use, and they can charge you for it.
I think your sim card might not be a 3G one, best thing to do to get everything answered is call t mobile customer service. |

i am using k800i as modem too, using etisalat simcard and have no problem at all, check ur simcard provider via internet or their counter to know how much for the cost, because some provider have two system, time based and other byte based... and check to is that card supports 3G or not... |
