Why is everyone using M2 instead of Micro SD? |

I checked the "k850 user list" and noticed that 90% of the users use M2..
why =S??
Here, Micro SD is cheaper and its also smaller? |

I WONDER which of these TWO performs . . . BETTER (fail-performance-safe and all)

^^ MS Micro M2 is a better performer, security wise My MicroSD works unstable and it corrupted my files twice

I'm using a 2gb M2 + 4gb M2 at the minute because I use a K850 and K800 so the compatability is there. I will be ditching my K800 for a Viewty soon though and I'll invest in a microSD for the cross-over. It just makes sense to do it that way.
As far as performance is concerned

MicroSD is generally much faster. Depends on what type of card it is, though.

@razec/ricky/mizzle - Thanks for the replies . . . I am still wondering how ALL of those files are being compressed that much in an Micro SD card (almost half the size of the M2 - right )
@mizzle - When it comes to SPEED, I guess these TWO have the standard ones . . unlike with the Memory STick where it has the NORMAL and the HIGH-SPEED one . . . right

If I'm absolutely honest JOJO, I think that most cheap memory card readers won't be able to transfer at the top theoretical speeds and your phone (when used as external storage) probably won't be able to reach those speeds so you're looking at the cost, maximum theoretical sizes, current available sizes and compatability. Seen as the current available sizes are about the same (microSD is coming out marginally quicker with bigger capacity) then you're looking at cost and compat. If you're on for all past, present and future phones then M2 is a no brainer even though it's slightly more expensive you don't have much choice if don't put dual card slots in future phones. If you use anything other than present or future then microSD is the way forward and the wider range of compatible situations makes for higher demand -> more manufacturers -> more competitive market etc etc and is reflected in the price. The speed differences are marginal. It should be the least of your thoughts.
I have a dig bick You read that wrong |

That's not my reason.
I have a 1GB TransCen MicroSD and my K850 read that card very slow, compared to 1GB M2 from my W880. So I decided to buy a 4GB M2 and K850 read it faster than 1GB MicroSD.
