3G disappeared after flashing K800i |

I flashed my K800i today into a K810i because I wanted to experience flashing- I'm a newbie in firmware and flashing. However, I realized that the 3G symbol at the top had disappeared. Now, I have normal internet, which isn't too bad because 3G is quite expensive and video calls cost 50p a minute. But, I've lost some of the good functions of 3G like faster internet speeds and higher bandwidth. Can anyone help me with this problem or do you think I should go to the o2 store to ask customer service? Thanks...
*EDIT* I switched it back to K800i and it has PlayNow now- before there was the o2 branding internet thing instead. They probably won't notice that I've changed anything

Have you accidentally turned off 3G?

No, I don't think so. Is there a way to turn 3G off on K800i's? |

Yes indeed. In Settings and then Connectivity and Mobile network (or whatever it's called). Then you can choose either GSM or GSM & 3G

You haven't "lost" your 3g. Branded firmware have different icons than unbranded firmware.
