Delete the New Topic button |

i just thought that it would be better if we have a New Topic button in every forum, but not in every thread. this would avoid ppl from making new topics by mistake instead of new replies.

I think you can't delete it. I think Esato is built over phpBB and it's part of phpBB.

I think that posters need to be more carefull when posting. Ive made a thread before and the link in it was wrong and it couldnt be corrected. I deleted the the post before anyone could reply in it. In that way the thread was deleted.

or the buttons shouldnt be together. maybe a New Topic button at the top but not at the bottom.

The moderators need to do the surveilance, boys! It's their job, so don't try to make it easier for them. We're all human and humans do err every now and then so that's why there are moderators to fix the little oopsies we make. Leave that button alone! Otherwise, I'll start a new topic twice!!!

I don't get you buddy..here's a considerable point that you probably haven't noticed.
And it is that when you start a new thread by clicking the New Topic button in any thread,your new topic is automatically inserted into that particular category...
And if you want to start a new topic in the main forum topic list,you should first go to a category and then there is the button..
So which button you say should be deleted?

@decay: every thread has two New Topic buttons, one at the top(up right) and the other at the bottom(down right). so, what i say is that the one located at the bottom can be deleted and leaving the one at the top. there's a New Topic in every forum also.
here are some examples:
in General Forum:
inside a thread:
top:
bottom:
if i want to make a new thread in the general forum i just click on the New Topic button located at the General forum.
