W910i walkman doesn't load artist names. |

I have a 4gb sandisk memory card in it with 800 songs and around 300 artists. When i go on walkman on the phone, then artists it just displays a list of icons, but with no artists name to their right. If you leave it for a few seconds it will load the names of the artists in view, but when you scroll down, the rest are still blank.
Even if you leave it for ages it doesnt load all the artist names, and once you quit the walkman player, and restart it, all the artists names have to be loaded again. The same thing happens with the tracks. I used to have a w580i with the same memory card in it and it didnt have this problem at all.
I have tried putting all the music on again with the supplied software but it didnt help. I tried using a smaller 512mb sony m2 card, but it has the same problem.
I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to do this, does anyone else have this problem...should i send it back? | |

This is unfortunately a bug in the firmware, and it makes you wait a long time before it's finished loading all the artists and such. You should wait for the firmware release in January

Yes, that goes for pretty much all W910's when handling big play lists with lots of songs and different artists
