Hey, my K750i camera recently stopped working. When I open the camera to take a picture the light surrounding the button to take photos lights up like it
would on the timer. When I go to take a photo the camera focuses and then stops and doesn't take a picture. Sometimes it does sometimes it doesn't even focus.

I need my camera for Christmas, that's why I want to try and get it fixed soon.

Does anyone know the problem?
Might the button have come loose or something?

Please help!
Thankyou.

EDIT: When the keypad is locked, if I push the camera button in it reacts with it every time. Does this mean theres something wrong with the camera software?

Sounds like a possible problem with the internal camera ribbon cable, I'm guessing it's either become damaged or has come out of it's connector on the phone's mainboard slightly, eg. after a drop.

It would involve taking the phone apart to fix, if you don't fel confident doing that take it to a service centre or phone repair shop.

i think i know your problem.
when you are in camera mode go to settings> save to> select phone memory.
or else format your external memory.
i had this problem once(reason- i had virus on my memory card, so formating it would clear the problem)

I tried the phone memory thing and it wont take pictures still. It focuses and stays focused until I let the camera button go. Then I pushed it again and it stopped working all together.

the camera button si dirty inside, you have to clean yourself or take the phone to a service center.

try this. remove your memory card. restart your phone, make sure you have selected phone memory. then make sure there is space in phone memory.
now take a pic. if this wont work then i guess your button is dead.

opera mini is not a software exactly. its a java application. its a phone internet browser.
but you can take pic using it.
you will find it at www.opera.com
download operamini3.1.2 only

Go to the service menu >*<<*<* then check the keyboard... if it works correctly... If it is software problem it can be solved with flashing the phone... But if not, you will have to replace the flex ribbon cable inside the phone... (if it's broken... I have seen some k750 and k800s with only displaced ribbon... Where the hardware is OK but the camera still dont take pictures.. In that case you have to place is properly).

opera is for free. you only get charged(by your operator) if you surf the net.
