Hi guys

I really have my heart set on the Nokia 5610. I can get one here for £121.99 (they retail in my shop for £179.99, but I can get a few bits off here and there, long story), and what I want to know is, is it worth it?

I've been umming and aahhing for a while now, and while the only real difference over my 5300 (that cost me £50 in comparison) is the camera, the video, the mem card it comes with (512 vs 1gb), the sliding bit on the front and the design, and the screen too I guess, I need to justify to myself spending £120 on it, something I rarely ever do with a phone (and something you prolly all do once a week ).

So, has anyone heard anything bad about these? Any problems with this specific model, or it's twin, the 6500 Slide.

I think for the price, given the only other thing for that price is the W580i, it's a great phone, but I need some back up here

Cheers guys.

I'd say it's better than it's 6500 brother - on that phone, the front panel seems too close to the keypad, and scratches it while being opened/closed! Not good......

6500s have their own problem thread on M-R, too:

Whereas 5610 doesn't(although it's newer, in fairness)! Oh, also, possibly consider Samsung U600(yes, really)...if you can get a sim free one for the same price(or even less with your discount), it's worth comparing the two, IMO......

Just curious about general faults anyones discovered/heard with it, is it good value for money, would you buy it given it's features vs price etc?

And no, can't stand Samsungs and the U600 is probably one of the worst I've ever come across, no way ho say, but thanks
