New Siemens S55 v the T68i |

Just got my new Siemens S55 to join my phone clan. Here's a pic to let you see the comparison in size, i'll let you all know what its like once i give it a good test.
basic spec though, Bluetooth, 4000 colour screen, java, polyphonic ringer, includes FLASH camera in the box. BEST BIT £70UK with contract.

Sorry to tell you, but S55 has only 256 colour. Not 4096 colour screen. |

Well, I agree to Caff, as far as I can remember, S55 has 256 colors only. The only thing that really amazed me by that phone is the polyphonic tones. But T300 can challenge that S55 of yours. I really want to have a phone with polyphonic sound but I do not know what to buy. By the way, does the S55 of yours support MMS messaging? |

It has mms. Tri band. 85g-dimensions 101 x 42 x 18mm-will be on orange uk in feb-no price yet

I am also wondering how many pop/smtp/imap accounts in can hold.

Any ideas of the answer to the pop/imap question? I searched the internet for the answer but no luck and the pdf file on the Siemens site won't download!
I want to send e-mails to Japanese mobiles and PC's but the SE T68i won't do it. Get the error 'invalid text' or 'invalid character set'.
I bought a Panasonic GD87 on Orange and that worked and I could even send pictures to the Japanese mobile but strangely it stopped working!! The MMS only worked once!! and Orange tech support have no ideas as to why.
Maybe I should start another post but this probably would bore the **** of most people!!

yes the S55 supports MMS.
And no, the S55 hasnt got memcard option. But the new SL55 will have that option. It will be out first half next year. |

What would be the difference from the SL55 from the S55? Would be there be more colors and then an mp3?
