Also, does anyone know if mobile phone prices drop after christmas - if they do, i migh wait til then

since the beginning we've had the t300 for 69€ sim-free here in spain.
you had to do a contract with "amena", the third operator here, and you had to consume a minimum of 6€ monthly for 12 months (if you didn't waste the 6€, it would be charged anyway). that is 72€ in 12 months. so the total is 141€.
all phones are sim-free although when you are buying it if you ask for it they say they are sim-locked

The Sony Ericsson T300 is specifically priced to sell, don't compare it with the T68i - these are prices that are set by Sony Ericsson, not the actual cost to produce.

to chankiwhatsitsface - sim free means that you buy it without a sim or a contract, and to the person who said its cheaper from sonyericsson, that DOES NOT contain the camera
