P1i and MMC-70 adapter problem |

MMC-70 is the adapter to plug your se to a 3.5mm input.
I bought the so I could listen to the W800i through the car speakers. It worked a treat but now I bought the p1i and the MMC-70 is not recognized so every time I plug the p1i, the sound still comes on the phone speakers and not through the car speakers.
The weird thing is that it worked the first few times I used it and the phone switches the speaker off if I use the hands free/headphones.
What have I done? I have upgraded the card to a 4gb from the 512mb, installed fring and google maps but that's it. No firmware upgrade or other changes. |

try to press the connector harder when inserting it on the phone...if it worked before, it has to work again...its not software related |

Tried that and made no difference. I tried to plug it in through the in car charger and it did not work either.
I am puzzle as it did work the first few times. Perhaps some of the apps I have installed have dissabled something within the phone although I remember it working after installing fring (i think).
The other thing is the cable it self but it would not explain why it does work with the w800i.
