Hi,

Does any one of you know if the P800 is allready availible in Denmark ?
Since my Uncle lives there ( in Tisvildeleje). He is planning to buy a P800 for me and then send it to me (Amsterdam).
At first I was planning to order one in sweden until i recieved this email :

Hi!

We have talked to our wholesale partner and got new information.
SonyEricsson P800 will not be released to "Internet Stores" now,
only retail stores will get the phone, in one or two days.

"Internet Stores" as Sicsac will get the phone in the beginning of 2003.

So if you want the phone you must contact RingUp, Dialect, Telia etc.
But I dont think that anyone of them will ship outside Sweden.

We will return your money as soon as possible.

Best Regards,
Sicsac Customer Service
Patrick

So as you can see I issn't possible for me to ordere one trough the internet. So I hope that someone can help me and give me an adress or something were he can buy it for me. He lives clos to the swedish border so mabey somebody know a shop in Helsingborg ?

I hope you can help me Because I'm desprate to get on

One of the stores that seem most confident about getting any P800 units this week is Kurt Ovi (strange name). Their URL is www.kurtovi.dk
I'm pretty sure that I will get my P800 from them.

@Brimme

You could just e-mail them (but of course they speak English).
I'm ordering it from their store in central Copenhagen, but I think they have some central distribution system going, which is good since a large retailer probably has a better chance of getting a decent amount of phones.

Tell him to go to Väla centrum (10 km) just outside of Helsingborg and I´m pretty sure he can find it for u. There is many shops inside and they used to have the latest models very quickly.

Maybe going to Sweden is a bit drastic taken in consideration that the phone may be available in Denmark as early as tomorrow. Obviously, information from Sony Ericsson in DK is not as good as in Sweden since most retailers have no idea when or if the P800 will be out.
But it makes sense that the phone will be out first in Sweden if SE's central warehouses are located there.

Hi.

Kurt Ovi showed me a mail from SE, stating that the p800 DEFINITLY would arrive in small numbers before the end of this week! He also had the danish price: 7150,- DKK (950 Euros) w/o subscribtion (about +500 DKK with!)

- So I prepaid one, and I'm numero uno in the store (Åbulevarden, Copenhagen) to get one.

The phone # is +45 3536 7766

Yes. It is. But sales tax diffrences might have something to do with that. Donno how much they pay in Sweden (or if the price we have included sales tax). But in Denmark it's 25%.

@Kr@lle

Kurt Ovi says that it doesn't matter if you've pre-paid your phone, an order is an order. I should be among the top 10 customers to get a P800, and you probably are as well
