I can't browse the normal version of hotmail with the built in browser, it worked before, but not anymore. Now I can't download attached files like pdf, xls etc. This supposed to be a smartphone!!!
I installed opera mini 4 and I see the Hotmail page just as on my desktop pc with explorer. The problem is that i still can't download attached files, the phone complains about unreliable software (reffering to opera mini) and starts up the built in browser.
I get this "unreliable" MIDlet whatever message every time I start browsing with opera mini and there are some options to choose between, "only this time", "only this session", "never", etc.
I tried to disable theese warnings under the MIDlet menu, but it didnt work.

Hey, I also had the same problem. I contacted hotmail support. They answered that now hotmail supports POP3, so you can configure your account like any other in your P990. Problem is, I make the right settings and... I doesn't work. Actually, stupid MSN did this autodetection of mobile device, STUPID.
Anyway if I will find out about settings of hotmail, I'll reply. | |
