"The more brighter and colorful the displays on the new mobile phones become, the more often I have to clean them.
A few fingerprints on the screen of my trusty old Nokia 6150 weren’t that much of a problem. But they tend to become annoying pretty soon on a bright and shiny display of LG KU990 Viewty.
Now Sony Ericsson seems to have come up with a simple and elegant solution to the problem - self cleaning mobile phone displays.

I can't see the point of this really, its just one more thing to break down.
What they should be developing is a maintenance free material which repels grime, grease and dirt in the first place - prevention is the best cure.
(btw, has anyone noticed that screen-wipes have this property somewhat? )
