It's most likely corrosion of the contacts that are responsible for the key presses, if it was indeed water damage.

If you're comfortable with disassembling your phone, you could purchase a replacement keypad here

Since the joystick is also damaged, you could either replace ti yourself, if you're skilled at micro soldering, or take it in to repair at some kind of phone store. http://cnn.cn/shop/sonyericss[....]0i-joystick-module-p-1104.html is a joystick available after market for your phone, if you were so inclined.

Actually, a thought just hit me, I remember people talking about repairing dust and dirt clogged joysticks by spraying in some kind of solvent? If my memory serves me correctly, it was WD-40... You might be able to revive the joystick with that.

If you need help with disassembling the phone, these links could help http://www.formymobile.co.uk/k750ilcd.htm http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fehmvqUJZmgcould help

hi

Get your keypad ic changed at some local shop that works on hardware.
Or else try to clean the phone with IPA(Iso Propyl Alcohol) using tooth brush.
And then use hair drier to dry the IPA.

If you still unsure, just go to SE Centre to repair it. It could be short circuit in the keypad board....
