ok so i just bought the mdr-ex90 headphones for my k850i.. now I KNOW i can't connect that directly to my phone, so thats why i created this thread.

I looked on ebay and there are alot of adapters starting from a dollar and up, but i was wondering, if i were to buy a lets say cheap SE handsfree with the 3.5 adapter, would i be able to use my mdr-ex90 instead and still have the handsfree calling/answering capability ??

If the answer is yes, which hands free do you recommend.**EDIT,, can i use FM radio with RDS too?

Thanks

just get the hpm-70 headphones.......... can pick them up quite cheap these days. but make sure they are GENUINE ones........... take the included headphones out, insert your new ones, and you will still have the mic etc, as the adaptor is built into the mic......... radio will work as per normal!

You might find the cables end up a bit on the long side, I found it a real pain - more tangles and/or cables hanging out.
I ended up shortening my headphone cable - just get a 3.5mm plug from maplin and cut off your cable and solder on the new plug. Be warned that the conductors in these cables are really fine and most seem to only have some sort of enamel coating as insulation which makes the job more difficult.
