A few minutes ago I read the N82 review at GSM Arena.

Not that impressed, but N82 should sound a bit better than N95 8gb through headphones, but just a little bit.
Thats my opinion based on the RMAA results.

I didn't realize that the screen auto rotated like the iPhone until I played with it.

I have today had a play and seen reviews of the N82 and im sorry im going to say my opinion. This camera phone as far as i have seen produces the best photos i have seen on any camera phone so far. And guess what i have a professional digital camera and i am heavily into my photography and i know what quality photos look like and this Nokia is the best i have ever seen. I dont care what SonyEricsson fans think when all you say is SE are the only ones to produce great picture quality. WRONG. The flash range on this phone is better than the K850i and pictures are very sharp. I had a K850i and returned it very poor phone and i dont think its just EARLY FIRMWARE when Nokia have got it spot on with their EARLY FIRMWARE. Just cos Sony makes digital cameras does not mean they are the best in the world i prefer Fuji or Panasonic. Come on SonyEricsson fans give it up and admit it that Nokia produce better all round phones with quality cameras sound better reliability and more innovation. Sorry

@seany
do you know if Nokia has just used the same sensor from the n95? If so, then i dont see any reason for it to come with bad quality shots in the first firmware as they have already had experience with that sensor in the n95/n95 8gb........

im interested in getting one, but the price is just too high for me atm!

Yes its the same sensor as the N95 though the pictures looks miles better to me and the flash makes all the better with indoor shots. Its range its better than K850i and much brighter. The only thing i hate is the keys which look like SE W880i not very user friendly.

i had N82 for 2 days...

i send it back of 2 reasons.

the joystick was realy bad, feelt realy cheap.....and the battery time of course...(also the meny was very NOT logic)..i realy thought that i should like N82, but i didnt....i wait to some other model.

the camera is good, but not woooaaahhhh what a camera...the flash pics produce strong light, BUT often with some green/blue colors in peoples faces, k850 produce better natural colors with the flash...

so once again SE have best xenon flash, (i dont care if a flash range 0.5 m extra...the result is much more important)

as much as i hate it,
i agree with planky here!!

I was dying to buy the N82. had a chance (lucky break here in pakistan) to play with one just opened in front of me. it was dark outside and inside the shop the illumination was dim, from tiny bulbs...i liked the k850 much better.
apart from that, i have used the w880 and i had no trouble with the keypad. it hurt when typing 10 messages in one,(i preach a LOT) but other wise it was fine..sadly, n82 was more like a Nokia 6080 in terms of keypad.
good thing i didnt spend 40 grand on one.

But then again, im not really happy with my k850 either

Just wanted to say that the k850 was better and yeah, CHEAPER! [addsig]

$herry, yes...if the next camera-software dosent get realy optimized i get quite sad.......

but i love k850 like a phone...awesome screen, keypad, design, battery time is one of the best i ever i use.....etc, etc..................thats why i want to keep it...im not a big fan of unlogic symbian phones...i LOVE JAva based phones....much faster and logic.
