Despite what you'll hear people saying thats its W910 or W960 or any other W phones, the truth is that N91 is BY FAR the best phone for music simply for its unparalleled sound quality.
You might want to look into N81 too.
Or, if you're a SE fan, then W960 or W610 are average to say the least. |

well he wants a good speaker too @QVGA, the n91 didnt have a good one IMHO, was average. But as you said, its SQ from headphones was quite decent!
You want to have good quality from both headphones and speaker? Go get a w900i then   (i know its old) not very far away at all from n91 in terms of quality from headphones, but the w900 speaker was/is fantastic imho!................
............Though im assuming you want a newer phone........ well go for a samsung or nokia, they both have dedicated audio chips! But Nokia has the better loud speakers out of the 2 imo! I hear motorola rokr phones sound quality is fairly good too, though i dont know how their loud speakers are!

braned refers to any software/design alterations done by a Network! example, vodafone put their own software/menu icons and their logos on phones....... unbranded means the phone is how it was intended to be from the factory, free from any ugly branding
perhaps try the samsung g600 or g800? Go the g600 if you dont need 3g or a xenon flash or optical zoom! other wise the g800 is for you!

thats right, n91 sound quality is amazing, donnow how nokia managed it, but next to it an se fone is just a bad joke...

samsung f330 is also quite good... cheaper then g600 and g800 because its camera is only 2mp |

U should go with n91 8gb,and No phone has ever matched up to the sound quality of it.
And as boba said Walkman series of Phone is just a joke before n91

In the summer of 2005 I wrote about the sound output of Sony Ericsson W800 in a quite a positive way. In the case of W810 I am not going to be as favorable. A few days ago I had the chance to test the music performance of the new Nokia N91 (read a detailed review of Nokia N91) and it seems that the music queen leading the parade will be exactly N91.
And n91 music edition costs 740sgd grab it before its out of stock,as the model in not under production.Only available few stores here and there

According to the several reviews I have read, Samsung i450 has the best sound through headphones and through the loudspeaker both the i450 and Nokia N81 are best... So Samsung i450 should be the best in terms of sound from headphones + loudspeaker...
@QVGA, I have a P990 and it's sound quality through headphones it excellent... It lacks too much in volume though... Assuming the same for W960, you cannot say it lacks in sound quality compared with Nokia's...
I would say there are three aspects to judge sound...
1. Quality (clearity)
2. How good the music sounds (sonic experience)
3. Volume (loudness)
"unparalleled sound quality"
P990/W960 also have excellent quality... That is what akuwm had asked...
Not fighting with you QVGA... My recommendation is samsung... Just wanted to clarify the sound quality part...

well if my budget is around 300-400 . and i want a phone with good sound quality, able to play java games , camera not tt important , with radio , not TOO laggy . what would u guys advice me ? |
