Tis the season to be jolly, and the tills did ringeth Falalalalal to the tune of a K800i !! Ho Ho Ho. I have splashed out a bit this Christmas and bought my Father a shiny new K8ooi. Lucky Father !!! I did not want to pay a fortune buying it sim free so i got it on pay as you go for less than £100 which was a bargin. Now normally for myself i always get a smartphone ie the P1i so this is new terrority for me. What goddies can i get as a stocking filler for the K800i ? I really hope he will like this phone, cause i would have loved to get him a smartphone but am not gonna spend a rediculous price of £300 for it. Oh yes one final question, do SE still make those bluetooth toy cars and would they be compaitable ? I think my Father would love one of those too !!

the remote control cars are not compatible with the k800 as it uses a newer charging port, so you would need a k700i or similar to charge the car.

K700i > K750i > K810i (current phone)

Nice Xmas present , I've mine for more then one year now, still happy with it !
As for stocking fillers, does your dad like to take pictures with his phone ? Then a memory card is a must, don't know whether you've got one with the phone, it wasn't included here in NL, so I had to buy it myself.
Also some sort of case or a soft pouch, to protect the screen would be useful.

Yeah i realised as i had a look in the box that it did not come with a memory card or case which was rather annoying, so i'll get those when i go back out shopping. Had'nt realised it did video calling so i had to get a 3G sim card sorted out today as well, as my father's old sim card dates back to the stone age!!! *cough cough* . Maybe i should also buy him some mulled wine as i think he will be needing a swig of that when he finds out what i got him for chrimbo !!!

As to the phone he has now, it's an ancient Nokia, not quite sure of the model but it is an early model!!! Have just had a look at the Nokia web site and i think it is a Nokia 6610i, which i think is several years old. *ahem* So i think i've brought him into the 21st century !!!

Hope your dad likes his new phone.

My mom and dad can't use these up to date fangled phones. My dad has a Nokia 2610 and my mom has an ancient Nokia 6100 cos she is too tight to buy a new phone, lol!

@abba - The Nokia 6100 is an all-time-fave of MINE coz it's so small and handy, a very reliable one too . . . just like with the old Nokia 6510 as well . . .

The K800i is a GOOD-buy at present coz it's sooo cheap, same as withthe P990i . . . [addsig]
