I've got an SE w850i and an unfamiliar symbol has appeared on my main screen.

It's all red and it's of a phone with the mouthpiece and earpiece facing down. Above it is a red arrow facing right.

Does anyone know what this means, please?

Many thanks

I was playing around with the Manage Calls last night but I hadn't added anyone to the Accept Calls, then this symbol appears.

ok just checked it out. It means you're restricting incoming calls. Try calling your number from another phone and see what happens

Some times this symbol appears just after you have set up your voicemail diverts too.

I can also appear if you swap sims on your phone as the network pics up your voicemail divert settings.

It tends to disappear after a while so I wouldn't worry about it.

Yes, youre right. Go to Manage calls- Accept calls- and choose 'All Callers'. Your sign symbol will vanish! And yeah, dont play with te Manage Calls menu again. You might end up restricting ALL YOUR CALLERS!!

Thank you to everyone who answered.

The manual I have is a very brief one, I actually had to download one online to see a full version with symbols.

I rang my number from another phone as suggested and it immediately went to voicemail. So, I went to Accept Calls and selected All Callers. The symbol immediately disappeared and I was able to dial my number and actually get through without the diversion.

Silly me! Blonde moment! LOL.

Thank you all for your help. It's been invaluable

Same. Has anyone got a manual explaining the symbols on the main display for the K850?

Want to know if the G above the signal bar means i have a 3G signal?

Thanks

"G" above the signal bar shows your GPRS status.
