Hi my first post in here so hello all.
Took delivery of a Vodafone UK handset today. Beautiful but...
Call sounds terrible. Really quiet even at full volume and very 'muffled'. Noticably quieter and poorer than my other SE phones - if I was somewhere noisy I wouldn't be able to hear a thing the other caller was saying
Cannot for love nor money get the damn thing to connect to PC Suite or Media Manager. Have re-installed everything three times and done everything on screen and in manual to no avail.
Pretty frustrated so far. If anyone can give me any advice I'd be grateful. I'll probably be sending it back to Vodafone, but should I bother getting another or are they all like this? (I can't believe that!) |

Hi
I accept the product may be defect (speaker crapped) but I don't understand how it won't hook up to PC Suite or Media Manager. Is there some sort of hidden art to this? I just want to try it for transferring some tunes and video over to the phone. It works fine as a mass storage device and comes up in My Computer as W910 with a cute phone icon.
PC suite connects and then says installing drivers then just says no phone connected. AAARRRGGGGGHHHH! |

^^^same thing happens to my W710, it can't detect the phone when connected in phone mode, that's why I only use USB mas storage mode. It also happens sometimes with 6233, PC suite can't detect it in phone mode but sometimes it can. I have all drivers installed and re-installed too but still can't fix the problem. My USB cables and ports are in good condition. |
