i know the k810i is 3g, but i think the k818i is 2g and edge compatable
K700i > K750i > K810i (current phone)

I dont think you are right. Look at K800/K790. Phone which has not 3G has lower number.

I think the K818 is the Chinese version.

Nope... it is K818i. And cinese versions are marked with "c"

It's the chinese version. No 3G, but with EDGE support.
