I wouldn't be too hopeful about great new features though...
Look at the iPod: They still give you their average earphones, no matter how expensive the model you buy. They still have no Radio feature, despite it being one of the complaints about the iPod since day one. They still support only a few file formats and everything still has to go through iTunes.
Then theres Apple's focus on simlifying everything. So in regards to features such as the camera, I don't believe we will see autofocus either. They just want an extremely simple point-and-shoot camera. Maybe we will see a higher megapixel count though. And perhaps MMS. But since the iPhone is made in the US, I wouldn't count on 3G either.

The AT&T boss had confirmed of a 3g iphone sometime next year.But no statement from Apple as yet.Probably there migt be an announcement by january |

Oh really? 3G? Well thats better then. I was expecting just mostly cosmetic changes. I wouldn't expect much more though. I'm not even anti-apple either. I use a MacBook computer and won't go back to Windows.

Jobs said at the o2 launch that 3G will ship next year. WAY before AT&T said that.
