Well as far as i know you can flash your p1 to w960, but you will lose the keyboard...  Anyway with the smartphones we are able to flash parts of the firmware (not the whole) if we want so i think that p1 to w960 conversion will be available for some time as there is for m600 to be made w950 and it's working perfectly
