i have an s500i right now im trying to get rid of it to get a k850i or a w960i which is better... i cant decide what i want |

its easy............
you like multimedia(symbian), wlan, lots of music features, touchscreen.....buy w960
you like taken pictures, good battery time, hsdpa....buy k850
ps...both have slightly the same sound i guess..(both have mediaplayer 3.0..maybe w960 have little louder sound)

but i dunno i dun really know when its gonna come to canada... of course there are ppl shipping the w960i out here and it sells for like 600 and the k850i goes for 500 |

I would choose a W960i , the finish is top notch.
The features and keyboard layout everything is designed well.
The K850i camera is ultimate.

If you want a good blend of features W960i
But if photo quality is gonna be a big thing for you the K850i isfor you

You SHOULD know what you want, it shouldnt be us telling you whether you want a camera phone or music phone. W960 has a terrible camera and K850 has a real good one.

Its terrible for a 3.2MP AF. Many people might confuse it with being in the same league with K800

w960-is little slow,and camera can only be compared to 2mp af,again,it looks like Se has provided with all in one phone but no,not at all.w960 surely looses out camera front,if u listen to music and are satisified with 2mp camera then go for w960,and lastly the w960 looks plasticy,i would have prefered the materials used in p990 without the buisnesss look.And make sure if u can get accoustimized to touch screen before buying,or do u prefer simple D pad or joystick navigation
k850-not impressive,with noise is even clearly seen in outddoor pictures with inferior sensor.i would definately go for phone which takes pictures with less noise but lower resolution.And the build quality isnt impressive to me.
So k800 and k810i is the best way to go,it can really take good 3mp images and the material is also well durable,and not glossy and fingerprint or prone to scratches and dust unlike k850i,and keeping in mind that k850 problems are not still solved,
and if u need touch screen i would say p1i,because its little stable,although the camera is disappointing again.and the green tint problem.with half qwerty keuboard it turns out to be business phone but it can manage music at decent enough level.overall i would say p1 as fair ,as prices of p1i had fallen enough it looks attractive.if u want simple to use device p1i is definately not for u
But ur buying pattern is unknown since u have lastly used s500i,couldnt predict,may be i think u need a good looking simple phone.

your decision would actually rest on the priorities you would set in purchasing your next unit. decide first on the features you would use most since these two phones are only different in the camera and music departments: K850 is more of a camera while the W960 is a Walkman! i'm sure you've read a lot of arguments about the pros and cons of each unit and, at the end of the day you yourself should decide what to get.
my 2-cents: the K850 can also play music as well and altho it may lack the Walkman interface, the fact remains that it could play any music file that the W960 can play. the W960 can also shoot pictures but not as sharp as the K850 due mainly to lack of the great camera features of the latter, and the Xenon flash unit! UI system-wise and user-friendliness, the K850 is much easier to navigate and use than the W960. well, of course, each SE fan (and non-fan) would have his/her own say on this case since as the cliche goes: "experience is relative" 
there you go, mate. settle first the issue of what you actually wanted in a phone. once you have decided on this, everything else will follow and decision time would be easier for you. but whatever you choose would still be a great buy.
