"Here's an odd one for you, a Nokia patent application just revealed those images above. The odd part is not so much the slider mechanism they are attempting to patent. Rather, it's the use of those dumbed-down product images instead of the purposely vague schematic usually submitted to the USPTO. And if we're not mistaken, that looks like "8 megapixel" stamped just below the lens. New N-Series in the oven, Nokia?"

Well, according to my 3 eyes that looks like a 6. And imo, this megapixel race on cameras is getting ridiculous. More quality and less show, "megapixels" on a phone is turning into nothing more than a name to increase the phones price tag! |

i don't think the final product will look like that guys,it's just a rough drawing for patent purposes.i like the idea though...

i never liked the 3250 solution to take pix, imo block fones are the best for it

It look much more like 6 megapix yes, but if its 8 I guess we must use it for x-ray  As for the design, I like it  :

first multimedia computer n95,then a camera n82 and now a camcoder.
