There are no official WM6 upgrades available to the HTC Wizard (QTEK 9100, i-mate K-JAM, etc), only unofficial hacks.

Highly unlikely! I believe that support for the QTEK 9100 was dropped long time ago . . . HTC are much worse than SE and Nokia when it comes to providing updates for their phones. FWIW: I bought the TyTN II a month ago and it has some software issues, and I'm not holding my breath that they'll ever fix these issues . . .

now thats crap... i really dont wanna advice the one to use anything other and its risky to use the mentioned ones. thats sad news for him, he cant use a certain application with wm5, he was reading somewhere, that it should work fine with wm6, but maybe he should just take another model then with wm6.

I have used both WM5 and WM6 and must say that it's not much of a difference: glossy taskbar, HTML in Pocket Outlook and what else?

Is there anything else your QTEK 9100 user is looking for in WM6?
