Hi,
Has anyone tried an 8gb memory stick pro duo with this phone ?.
I know SE advise maximum is 4gb but wondered if the above worked. If so has it worked okay and not affected the rest of the phone ?.
I am considering one as Asda have got them for about £59 on T-mobile PAYG. |

4gb is the largest size Sony Ericsson say will work with the K750 / W800 / W810 phones.
Ive got a 4gb memory stick in my K750 & from a cold boot up it takes 70 seconds to get to the start phone / music only screen because of the size of the memory stick.
I wouldnt risk wasting your money on a 8gb stick thats more then likely not going to work correctly with the phone or at best slow it down when trying to open files a hell of a lot.

^ i agree.
i would rather get a usb flash drive for that 8gb of huge real estate.
imho, the 4gb alone in your phone's memory stick is more than enough for everything. going beyond this (or even with a 2gb) would greatly sacrifice speed and worse, may even let the phone lag in its applications or hang.
cheers!
