Two tips regarding K750i |

hi everyone..i'm just new to the esato community...i found many helpfull threads..but iw ant to ask about two things..if anyoine can help me
first
i have sony ericsson k750i,,,the official site of SE..says i can upgrade up to 4GB the memory stick..is this true///i ehard that soemtimes..it can't read the 2G cards...so any info??
second
i want to change my phone in the walkman series...how to patch it...how to get any guide...any threads or links would be helfull

well, with xs++ you can check what cid is your phone.

Im using a 4gb stick in my K750 thats been flashed to W800.
Only issue with the bigger size memory sticks is from a cold boot when it will take about 70 seconds to get to the start phone / music only screen. |

so i think it makes the mob a little slow..right??
is the flashing into w800 worth trying??..i'm afraid that i may damage my phone |

The 4gb memory card will only slow the phone down when you first switch it on or when you open the media player, it just takes a short while to read all the information on the card.
The walkman player from the W800 is better then the normal K750 media player plus you also will gain flight mode as well.
Its up to you, if your happy with the K750 media player then stick with that, if you want flight mode & / or a slightly better media player then go for the reflash.
Its a very easy mod to do yourself if you take your time & READ the guide & follow the instructions before going ahead with it.

i wanna do this with my old k750 but the only thing is that the color is brown... is there a way around this?
