Hey guys. I m new to this SE forum. Actually i wanna buy a new phone & i was considering the new SE w910i. But i read User's opinions on www.GSMArena.com. Its says that the camera is not gud at all though its 2 MP and the phone resets after every 3-4 hours. And i even read that there is no clock display in idle/sleep mode. Missed calls/sms also no indicator in idle/sleep mode. So plz help whether i should go for it or not.
Thanks in Advance.

well dont expect wonders from its camera, as you said, its 2mp. Its quality is fine for a phone. downside is no flash or AF.

resetting every 3-4hrs? has not happened once to 2 of my mates unbranded w910's, nor on the one i got on contract which i have since sold! Buy a unbranded/sim free model and it 'should' be fine. And there is a new firmware out, or coming out very very soon which will fix things.

There is a sleep mode clock, which shows missed calles etc... Though its not like on the old phones where its on constantly. You have to press the volume button once and it will light up with the time, any sms's, missed calls etc. So no biggie there.

its an ok phone, but dont have ultimately high expectations of it. for an every day phone, ie, sms, calls, bit of music, i found it very easy to use

Dont fool urself w910 is bad phone

Here are list of problems

- Phone calls cut out after 10 seconds;

PRICEY, I DONT RECOMMEND EVEN IF ITS FAIRLY PRICED OR LOW END PHONE BECAUSE THE AMOUNT OF BUGS THIS PHONE CONTAIN IS ENORMOUS.

The symptoms are from the W910i firmware overview page, which I put up after reading loads of people's experiences and my own experience of the phone.

As for advice, I have one, but I would not recommend getting one at the moment. Most of the issues should be fixed (fingers crossed) in the New Year with a firmware update, but until then hold fire if you can...

I can't say i've had any problems with my W910, other than it being a tad slow while listening to music (especially while connected to mbw-150 and DS-200 at the same time).

Battery life is good considered it's connected via bluetooth to my watch most of the day and ds-200 to and from work, i get around 2-3 days battery life.

Yup... Bought unbranded from CPW... First one, restarted 4 times in 2 days and had speaker crackle.

Took it back for a replacement, and the first one that they brought out was constantly restarting in the shop! So they had to get another one, which is the one that I am using now...

This one seems stable so far, so I am hoping that the other issues can be sorted in a firmware update!
