Ive a friend ive known since days of Secondary school and is forever changing her phone number (Silly Reasons) but I think she is giving her number to every "Tom, Dick or Harry" or it's some type of fetish she has,

I find it odd every 3-4months I get a text telling me
"This is my new Number"
it really is annoying why can't she stick to one like me ive had mine since 2000 or whenever it was when "BT Genie" arrived on the scene

BTW she refuses to give me her Landline number she says its for "Buisness" how strange is that

Is she upto to something I shouldn't know about ok well

How often and why do you people change your Numbers(s)

I've had my Aussie number for 12+ years.
Why? because its brilliant. I got it when GSM first came in

its 04xxxxabcd
where x is all the same digit and abcd is a sequential run of digits easy to remember.

I've had my UK mobile number for 10 years. its not as good as the aussie but still not bad
07771 xx yy xz

I've also had the same email address since 1994

can't see any reason to change

I changed mine 2 months ago bcos I found a gr8 number on a better network. It's like 7AAAAAA7 hehe where As are all the same. P.S: We can't migrate numbers between networks so if u wanna benefit from a better offer on the other network ur obliged to change ur number.

God years ago i had 4 mobile contracts at once and i just had to always have the latest phone so i kept taking out new contracts and could not be bothered to take my number with me plus i heard that changing your number to another network can have its downsides such as connection problems when recieving calls. My sister in law has that problem when she transfered her number. Plus it was laziness. Then one day i paid off all contracts and will never do it again or get a contract again. Then when i went to pre pay i kept swapping again trying to find best value pre pay service. My friends and family got so irritated my brother had 7 numbers in his phone for me. Oh dear. Now for past 6 months i stuck with O2 pre pay and am happy. I used to change on average my number every 2 to 3 months. Silly really.

I've had the same number for almost 5 years now. I'll give it up when they pry my phone from my cold dead fingers....

I've got about 15 SIM cards for each of my phones - only got one left that's not used. So I'll have to get some more some - which means more numbers

I've had my number for about 11 years. Way too much hassle to change it. I do get annoyed with people who text you every 6 months with a new number as well!
