K770i Issue! |

Hi guys,
Some time ago, I posted on here (slightly different user name) and asked about the compatibility of this phone witha 4gb M2 card. The general consensus was that it should be fine. So I went ahead and bought the phone and a card, and all was fine - until yesterday.
Now I'm getting "playback failed" messages when trying to play music, and then the phone won't recognise any of the music I have on there. After switching off and on, it suggests I reformat the memory card! I've removed everything, and put it back on again (only 1.5gb worth this time). It worked this morning, but died again this evening.
Any ideas? Could this be a problem with the card or phone? Or perhaps the K770i just doesn't like anything over 2gb, like the SE website suggests.

Yes, you removed everything, but did you actually format it? |

No, I guess I didn't. Do you think this will make a difference?
Actually - it may be a problem with the card - the phone isn't recognising it now, so won't let me format it either.... Great.

you could format the card by connecting your phone to your PC and right-clicking on the icon that represents the memory stick in (My) Computer and choosing Format. |

Thanks. I will do that if it does it again. Ended up removing the memory card and reinserting again - its working this time...
Not impressed though, and can't help but feel it may be a compatibility issue... Perhaps I should have waited for the W890i. |

I think it's just a prob with you'r memory card , try to go back and say it's a doa memorycard (dead on arrivel) , and buy 2 x 2gb with you'r refund, so you can allways let a memory card in you'r pc and put new music on it , and just switch both cards. |
