Hi,

My friend accidently got their s500 wet about 5 hours ago and has only just told me so its a bit late to take out battery etc.

when they turn it on, the buttons light up like normal but the screen is white with grey dots on,

can the phone be fixed?

thanks,

To be honest, the phone is screwed. It is rare for a water damaged phone to be revived.

usualy water dmg means the end of your phone's life

but there is a last solution.
let it dry out for couple day's,
when done use 'WD40' on the inside of the phone,
pray and do a little dance, and try to turn on your phone.
after couple days
