So when i want to transfer pictures from my phone to pc i plug my phone into the usb as usual and the window opens with all my files and pictures in. Before the pictures would show as thumbnails and i could see what pictures i was transferring. Now it just shows the file and i have to double click on the file to see what pic it is. This makes transferring a lot of pic's a pain in the ass. Anyone know how to solve my problem

in the window where you see the files, click view and choose one of the available viewing options such as large icons

Is that the one where it gives you options like thumbnails, details, list. Etc? Cus its already on thumbnails so should show the pic's.

How many pic you have in that folder ???

because even with a P990 2MP photos... it will take time for the pc to read all the pics from the memory card...

just wait ..... or scroll down to the bottom..... there you shoud see the icons replacing with thumbnails slowly and one by one....

if that problem existed .... try other folders with less pic files and see about that ....

one more thing: try changing the view to icons then back to thumbnails

Thumbnails of the pics can be seen in Vista. I don't remember how it was on XP.
