when i go to camera mode in my s500i it gives me problems zooming...
it says i can NOT zoom in normal mode, but CAN in panorama and the other ones... =S whats up with this?

newer phones cant zoom in normal mode. just in lower resolution i guess.

mine does the same exact thing..... is your lighting horrible also? when i take a picture indoors with regular light its really bad, but when in sunlight- the picture is really clear... the camera needs a flash!

ya its really gay i want to zoom in normal mode... what u mean in low resolution only it will zoom??...

the zoom is better when the resolution is lower....eg.you might have 3 optional resolution say 1,2 and 3...1 will be max. resolution,so you cant zoom but you can zoom in 2 and more in 3......

and guys....thts jst DIGITAL zoom....zooming the pics in the gallery is a better an wiser idea!

yeap true true... the 2mp quality will be better to develop or blow up on screen rather then zooming in the picture
