i bought a brand new W910i two months back. had the restart problem then updated it to the latest firmware. phone was stable for some time then from last week onwards things have gone bizzare.my phone shuts down completely and stays that way if not turned on. the frequency is quiet high. 7-8 times an hour. i have to keep a constant wayth on the phone to ensure it is switched on. can onybody help me out of it. there has to be a solutuion. what the f**k are the developers at SE doing? why the hell they haven't come up with a solution till now. its been more than a year since the phone released. |

well, you could start by checking if the battery is not set properly. the pins couldnt be doing contact.

Try to flash with a third party method. SEUS aint always the best method.

it really irritates me that everytime a phone has a problem people blame the firmware. If it was a firmware bug, then everyone with the same firmware would have the same problems. I've had the latest firmware for a while now and not a single restart or shutdown.
You should take the phone back under warranty. This is more than just a firmware bug.

true true. though same firmwares have had different issues.
but as max said, go and take it repaired/replaced if it's under warranty

I don't understand why someone with a 2 month old phone is running around trying to fix serious issues such as this with firmware updates?? I mean sure you try an update via SEUS, which is free and doesn't invalidate the warranty, but after if there are still problems you should be turning to the manufacturer for a solution as is your right under the law (not fit for purpose).
If they can't fix it then you are entitled to a replacement or your money back.

most likely operator. I had a similiar problem with optus on both my K800 and W910 untill they got their shit together and it stopped happening.

gna change it for another SE phone the day after tomorrow... a few buttons suddenly died lol, like the green call button, red call button, 2 special keys for the photos and not soon after the left softkey. i could still listen to music and play games, but its effectively a crippled phone now. wierd. that day, in the morning it was still working perfectly, and i just left it on the table as usual, and at night when i went out and grabbed it, i immediately knew something was not right lol. sigh, it died. lol.
